Jessica Walker, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C
Principal
Before bringing David on as a partner and forming workshopWDXL, Jessica founded her own firm, Walker Run Studio. Prior to that, Jessica managed the New Orleans office of Coleman Partners Architects. Jessica began her career with Mathes Brierre Architects. She holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University.
In addition to running the firm, Jessica has served on the board of AIA Louisiana and as the president of AIA New Orleans and the Lower Garden District Association. Awards include the 2021 AIA Louisiana Emerging Professionals Award and the 2021 AIA New Orleans Emerging Professionals Young Architect Award.
On weekends, you can find her moving around pews at Felicity Church, a wedding venue she runs with her husband Chris.

David Demsey, AIA, NCARB
Principal
Before forming workshopWDXL, David was a project architect at Waggonner and Ball Architects. Prior to that he was with Eskew Dumez Ripple. He holds a Masters of Architecture and a Business Minor from Tulane University. Prior work experience includes the Louisiana Children’s Museum, The Pan Am and Dixie Brewery building at the New Orleans VA Hospital and the Rosa F. Keller Library.
Outside of the firm, David advises the Tulane Small Center and is a past board member of the Krewe of Freret. On weekends he can be found at TPC Louisiana or biking around City Park and the Lakefront.

Jennifer Wickham, AIA, NCARB
Senior Architect
Jen joined workshopWDXL in 2021, concluding eight years as a Project Architect with A/E firm Meyer Engineers in Metairie. She has extensive experience with publicly bid projects across the region with clients including the City of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, WJMC hospital, and the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority.
She holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University where she worked on the design and construction of the award-winning GrowDat Youth Farm in City Park.
On weekends you can find Jen walking her dog around Bayou St. John.

David Gindin
Director of Development
David’s background is in real estate acquisitions, development and operations. Prior to joining workshopWDXL, David developed and managed The Quisby, a 30 room upscale hostel and hub for international misfits. His passion is creating intentional spaces and restoring historic buildings.
Before moving to New Orleans, he handled acquisitions for a hotel investment fund with a national footprint. He graduated cum laude from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
David’s happy place is in his kayak admiring alligators (from a respectful distance).

Kris Shull Dunn, Associate AIA
Consultant
Kris Shull Dunn brings 15 years of experience in hospitality, multifamily design, and historic renovation with Terrell Fabacher Architects and Mathes Brierre Architects. With a passion for studying the history of place, she enjoys uncovering the potential in revitalizing old buildings and creating new spaces. Notable projects include the Odyssey House Bohn Street facility (2020 Louisiana Landmarks Society award) and a 2010 Newsweek Magazine Future of Work housing prototype for New Orleans.
She holds a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University and a Bachelors in Politics from Whitman College. Kris also has an interest in graphic design and runs the online apparel company NOLA Republic with her husband.

Steve Scollo, RA, NCARB
Collaborator
An integral workshopWDXL collaborator, Steve brings a passion for design fostered by his wide ranging experience across the United States and abroad. He currently splits his time between his role with workshopWDXL, developing property in Maine, and Queensland design services.
Previously, Steve was the Design Lead for Waggonner & Ball Architects in New Orleans on numerous AIA and USGBC award-winning projects across the Southeast. These include the Greater New Orleans Foundation Headquarters and redevelopment of the historic Carrollton Courthouse as senior housing. Steve’s background also includes projects in Colorado and across the Western US as well as international built work in Beijing, Brisbane, and the British West Indies.
